Quartz to launch chemical show in SE-Asia

News this week: Quartz Business Media, a U.K.-based event organiser, announced plans to launch Chemspec Asia in Thailand next year. The event will run from 19th to 21st September 2013 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC).

Chemspec was first launched in the U.K. in 1986 and currently has geo-clones in Europe, India, the U.S., Middle East and Latin America. Quartz is expecting the inaugural Asian event to attract 5,000 attendees and featuring exhibitors covering products from the fine and speciality chemicals sectors.

Steve Diprose, vice-president of Quartz, commented, “Our existing events have given us an exciting taste of how Chemspec can deliver vital platforms for interaction between industry professionals across continents and specifically with regard to Asia. There is little doubt Asia is currently the world’s economic success story and with manufacturing performance in the region having been robust in the face of the recent global financial crisis, future growth indicators are extremely positive.”
