Aspects of the GSMA Mobile Asia Expo 2012 will include an exhibition, a conference, an app planet and a deal hub. The exhibition will showcase cutting-edge technology, products, devices and apps to mobile professionals and mobile-passionate consumers. The topics of the conference include Applications, Devices, Embedded Mobile, Mobile Advertising, Mobile Broadband, Mobile Health, Mobile Internet, Mobile Money, Mobile Operator Strategies, Network Evolution, NFC, Retail in Mobile and Social Media, etc.

The app planet provides app developers knowledge of the popular mobile app marketplace. Finally, the deal hub is a live face-to-face platform that helps to connect qualified buyers and solution providers.

GSMA expects more than 500 exhibitors and 20,000 attendees to participate the inaugural expo in Shanghai. The former Mobile Asia Congress 2011 was held in Hong Kong last November.
