Record number of exhibitors at HKTDC’s electronics fairs

Hong Kong, 12th October: The Hong Kong Electronics Fair, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), opened on 13th October and will run until 16th October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

The Hong Kong Electronics Fair is concurrently held with electronicAsia, and is co-organised by the HKTDC and MMI Asia. Featuring 630 exhibitors from 13 countries, the two concurrent events attracted a record crowd of more than 3,700 exhibitors and over 5,300 booths this year. The HKTDC reported around 3,100 companies from 28 different countries and regions were in attendance.

This year also features a new section named the Mobile Device and Accessories Zone, where around 40 exhibitors exhibited smartphones, tablet PCs and related products. Additionally, other display areas setup included the Green Electronics Square, the Silver Market and Healthcare Electronics and the Mobile Devices and Accessories.
