More exhibitions cancelled in Japan

Although none of the key exhibition venues have reported structural damage, the impact of potentially unreliable electricity due to rolling blackouts and the ongoing nuclear crisis have forced organisers and venues to either postpone or cancel exhibitions. There have also been reports that Tokyo Big Sight is using several of its halls to house a small number of evacuees.

News this week: In addition to the cancellations which we posted on our blog, additional B2B exhibitions have been cancelled in Japan. Recent April cancelations and postponed shows include:

CPhI Japan and co-located events (ICSE Japan and P-MEC Japan) have been postponed from 18th – 20th April 2011 to 21st – 23rd March 2012.

Intermold / Die & Mold Asia / Japan Metal Stamping Technology Exhibition 2011 scheduled to be held 20th – 23rd April has been cancelled.
