News this week: Hong Kong, 26th November: Cosmoprof Asia, a joint venture between UBM Asia and BolognaFiere, concluded its 15th edition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 10th – 12th November with record attendance.
The organiser reported a total of 1,633 exhibitors (up 16% from 2009), and over 45,100 visitors attended the trade show – that is a 10% increase compared with 2009. International visitors reached a new record of over 26,100 - up 11% year-on-year. Visitors were from Australia, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Brazil and the U.S. A 10% increase in exhibition space was also recorded by Cosmoprof, bringing the total to 57,400 m2.
